Catalyst effects

​

When certain elements combine on a victim, certain (often fatal) effects can result.  To trigger these effects, attack a creature with an element that it is weak to.  Then attack it again with the secondary element of the catalyst.  The known catalyst effects are as follows.

• Lightning then Air

  • When combined, a high impulse explosion will send even large creatures sprawling​

• Air then Stone​

  • When combined, the victim will be surrounded by stone shards (high bleed effect)​

• Fire then Nature *or* Nature then Fire​

  • When combined​, a high damage explosion will occur.

• Stone then Lightning​

  • When combined, lightning will spread to all nearby creatures; stunning them momentarily​

• Water then Ice​

  • When combined, the victim will be frozen.  If the ice is broken before they thaw, they will take a high amount of damage.​
